Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Critical Power Project

Conrad, Senior Project Engineer (814) 269-2803 conradt@ctc.com Project Summary CTC performed reliability testing on five ReliOn J-48 proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells prior to the installation of the systems at remote FAA communication sites. The ReliOn systems are hydrogen input and 1 kW @ 24 VDC output. The systems are in service at FAA sites providing backup/uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for FAA communications at remote sites in Washington, Wisconsin, Ohio and New York. |
